Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day compliance and legal (60:40) support to the business.
  • Draft, review and amend agreements and related documents, including those relating to Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, HR, Finance, QA/RA, Commercial and Operations.
  • Draft legal memorandums on key legal and compliance issues.
  • Provide corporate governance and paralegal support to Arthrex entities in China.
  • Review and approve Marketing initiatives and materials, review and pre-approve Medical Education events.
  • Independently handle due diligence of all HCOs, distributors and suppliers.
  • Design, prepare, and deliver legal and compliance trainings.
  • Assist Manager to develop legal and compliance initiatives to keep pace with developments of local regulations and corporate policies.
  • Assist Manager to develop, initiate, maintain, and revise legal and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Assist Manager to provide local support and assistance to Global, APAC and China Compliance Initiatives, including Data Privacy, Compliance Audits and Investigations.
  • Manage the use of company seals.

 

Requirements:

  • LLB or LLM from reputable law school, with PRC Bar qualification.
  • 4+ PQE with legal experience in prestigious law firms and/or in-house experience with MNCs, healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English.
  • Good business acumen and capability to develop and maintain good relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • High ethical standards and strong integrity.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, self-disciplined and team oriented.
  • Strong ability to prioritize matters efficiently, and to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining high quality and performance under pressure.
