Job description

Wealth.com is the industry’s leading estate planning platform, empowering financial advisors to offer modern, comprehensive estate planning solutions to their clients. By combining cutting-edge technology, AI, and unmatched human expertise, we deliver a seamless experience that sets us apart. Beyond having one of the most coveted domain names in FinTech, wealth.com is a dynamic, revenue-generating startup experiencing rapid yet sustainable growth.

A key reason behind our position as the #1 estate planning platform is our team. Our people thrive in a collaborative, supportive culture that fosters innovation and makes wealth.com a place where everyone truly enjoys working. Wealth.com is certified as a Great Place to Work for 2024 and named a 2024 finalist for Fast Company’s Best Workplaces for Innovators!

One of Wealth.com’s key differentiators is its extensive network of integrations – and we are ready to double down on that differentiator going forward. Wealth.com currently connects with more than 20 other platforms and services, including leading financial platforms like Addepar, Schwab, Carta, Orion, and Yodlee; CRMs such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Wealthbox, and Redtail; identity providers and platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID, Google, and Apple; and many more.

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Head of Integrations to lead and expand our already robust integration strategy. This senior engineering role is critical to maintaining Wealth.com's position as the market leader and will play a vital role in shaping the future of our platform. You will be responsible for the overall execution and success of our integration roadmap, working closely with the Product and Sales teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and deliver on the integrations roadmap: In collaboration with Product, Sales, and Engineering, define the long-term vision and strategy for integrations, prioritizing opportunities based on business value and technical feasibility. This includes identifying new integration partners and managing the entire integration lifecycle.
  • Lead and manage the integrations team: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Technical oversight: Provide technical guidance and support on all aspects of integrations, ensuring the quality, security, and scalability of our integrations. This includes architectural design, API development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Metrics and reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to integration performance, identify areas for improvement, and report progress to senior leadership.

  • Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years focused on API integrations and platform connectivity
  • Proven experience leading and managing high-performing engineering teams
  • Deep understanding of API design principles, RESTful APIs, and various integration patterns (e.g., message queues, event-driven architectures)
  • Experience integrating with financial technology platforms (experience with Addepar, Wealthbox, Redtail, or similar is a plus)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree is a plus

  • Wealth is an equal opportunity employer and encourages people from all backgrounds to apply. Should you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please let us know.
