Our Raytheon Global Ethics & Compliance (GEC) team has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Compliance who will be a member of the Deferred Prosecution Agreement Compliance Office responsible for the daily activities associated with the Raytheon Deferred Prosecution Agreement Compliance Program and three-year Compliance Monitorship.  Specifically, this person will directly support the Raytheon DPA Compliance Office Lead by ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.  In addition, the selected candidate will partner with various GEC functions on other aspects of the larger Raytheon Ethics and Compliance program as needed.  The candidate will also be responsible for presenting progress reports to the RTX DPA Compliance team, Raytheon GEC leaders, and Raytheon leadership.  Will stand in for the DPA Compliance Lead when necessary and act as the Raytheon representative to the Compliance Monitor team.  This role is ideal for seasoned manager who has prior experience working with legal or compliance professionals in a large company looking to engage with employees of all functions to support the development and execution of the Raytheon DPA Compliance Office.  The successful candidate will support the Legal, Contracts and Compliance (LCC) function and report to the Senior Director of the DPA Compliance Office for the three-year duration of the DPA.

What You Will Do 

  • Directly supports the DPA Compliance Office Lead when executing under the DPA

  • Tracks progress, identifies and resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules to ensure smooth project operations 

  • Supervise a team of compliance professionals

  • Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase efficiency of work 

  • Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met 

  • Supports in the launch of risks assessments and mitigation plans   

  • Works closely with Principal Investigators and Monitorship team to identify and addresses project problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects 

  • Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives 

  • Actively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using Raytheon's Business Process Improvement methodology (CORE)  

  • Support project management activities 

  • Travel to all domestic sites on short notice and for extended periods of time (approx. 1 week per site visit)

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience 

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

  • U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Experience with program development to support business initiatives

  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans for long term business goals

  • Experience with defense contracting

  • Experience working within corporate compliance programs

  • Project management experience 

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong understanding of Raytheon programs, contracts, platforms, and culture

  • Experience in public speaking and presenting to large groups

  • Strong communication, organization, listening and writing skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work autonomously with limited oversight from supervisor

  • Highly detail-oriented, resourceful and adaptable

  • Experience handling sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality is maintained

  • Ability to travel on short notice and for extended periods of time

  • Current U.S. DoD security clearance of Secret or higher

Skills & Certifications 

  • Lean, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma certifications preferred

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
