mdf commerce Inc. is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.

We are currently looking for a Analyst, FP&A to join our Finance team. The Analyst, FP&A plays a critical role in providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making. The role involves analyzing financial data, assessing financial performance and preparing reports. The Analyst, FP&A will work with the various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.

What will your main responsibilities look like?

In this role, you will be led to:

  • Actively participate in the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and financial statements.
  • Analyze financial information and assess performance drivers.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly financial analysis at all levels of the P&L.
  • Prepare various management reports (e.g., financial, sales, customer cost reporting).
  • Work closely with operational teams as a business partner.
  • Support the business in understanding financial data.
  • Monitor dashboards and performance indicators at the operations level.
  • Participate in the optimization of processes related to the various financial systems.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and reports to support business needs on special projects.

  • Recognized accounting designation (e.g., CPA) or CFA designation (an asset).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite software including Excel software (pivot tables, formulas) and PowerBI (an asset).
  • Knowledge of Business Central and/or Workday Adaptive (an asset).
  • Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French-speaking internal and external colleagues and partners across Canada.
