Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: No fixed schedule yet since they are currently arranging the sched of the other team members but this job would need a 24/7 coverage. Basically, the staff will be on shifting schedule. 

They must have supervisory expeience even though they wont directly supervise anyone. They do have to be very independent and meet the experience of an Eligibility Specialist, Compliance officer, security monitor etc.

Job Summary:
The Compliance and Eligibility Specialist is a remote role responsible for monitoring staff and program compliance across multiple sites, managing site security via Ring camera systems, arranging shifts, and ensuring eligibility forms are completed. The role requires strong supervisory skills, remote monitoring capabilities, and experience in health and community support programs to ensure sites are properly staffed and compliant with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Remote Site Monitoring:
  • Use Ring cameras to remotely monitor activity at various service sites, ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
  • Proactively engage with staff or individuals onsite through Ring camera systems to provide instructions, monitor compliance, and address concerns in real-time.
  • Ensure that security and operational incidents are logged, reported, and acted upon promptly.
  • Shift Management and Staffing:
    • Arrange and assign shifts to staff members to ensure all service sites are adequately staffed at all times.
    • Manage scheduling conflicts, sick leaves, and shift changes, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
    • Maintain an up-to-date roster of staff availability and adjust shifts accordingly to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the performance of onsite staff remotely, ensuring that tasks are completed according to established standards.
    • Ensure that all required forms and documentation, including compliance checklists and eligibility paperwork, are completed and submitted on time.
    • Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance, safety protocols, and use of remote systems such as the Ring camera monitoring system.
  • Compliance and Eligibility Monitoring:
    • Ensure that all sites comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including Medi-Cal and CalAIM guidelines.
    • Verify that all client eligibility requirements are met, and assist staff in processing housing support, caregiving, and other service-related forms.
    • Perform regular compliance checks and audits of remote operations and documentation, escalating any issues to the Chief of Programs and Services.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
    • Monitor and manage reports on staffing, security incidents, compliance issues, and shift logs.
    • Compile and submit regular reports to management on compliance statuses, staffing efficiency, and any relevant site activity.
    • Maintain accurate records of eligibility verifications and compliance checks performed across all sites.
  • Communication and Issue Resolution:
    • Act as the point of contact for onsite staff regarding operational issues, security concerns, and shift-related matters.
    • Facilitate clear communication between remote monitoring systems, onsite staff, and management, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues or concerns.
    • Coordinate with external partners and providers to ensure compliance with staffing and operational requirements.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Social Services, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in supervisory roles, with demonstrated ability to manage remote teams and site operations.
    • Familiarity with Ring camera systems or similar remote monitoring technology.
    • Experience in shift management, scheduling, and compliance monitoring.
    • Knowledge of Medi-Cal, CalAIM, and related health care frameworks.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience managing eligibility and compliance in healthcare or community support services.
    • Ability to manage remote operations efficiently, including real-time monitoring and staffing coordination.
    • Experience in using scheduling software and managing remote staff availability.
