About the role

We are looking for a Software Development Manager to lead teams working on a project to re-write our agent facing applications. We need an outstanding teammate with a real passion for ownership of sophisticated user experiences and the end-to-end implementation of their solutions.

As a Senior Software Development Manager, you will:

  • Be responsible for the development of agent facing web, iOS and Android applications.

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers, including hiring and career mentoring.

  • Iterate quickly and shorten our development cycle, accelerate development and maintain high quality of work.

  • Evangelize, strategize, and help develop the roadmap for the agent applications, with stakeholder input.

  • Set the technical tone and vision for the team in terms of quality, craftsmanship, and performance.

  • Collaborate with business leadership, analytics, product management, and other engineers to achieve your technical vision.

  • Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from concept to release.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $201,700.00 - $322,300.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience leading developers and providing technical leadership.

  • 5+ years’ experience in software development in object-oriented languages like C# or TypeScript.

  • Experience with Agile software development principles.

  • Experience architecting, building and scaling resilient backend services.

  • Experience with modern UI frameworks like Ionic and Angular.

  • Experience supporting customer-facing services and handling critical issues.

  • Excellent cross-team collaboration and communication skills.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.

  • Demonstrated flexibility, high energy and open to new insights/approaches.
