Your Impact:

  • Must have experience with call flows, hunt groups and phone number ports in and out of carriers
  • May lead small teams of technical contributors, providing direction, guidance and coaching for the resolution of complex problems or advancement of technical initiatives
  • Creates and maintains technical documents and plans for solutions and standard operating procedures such that services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner
  • Works closely with Network Services team to ensure proper integration with networking infrastructure
  • Demonstrate knowledge and make recommendations on security standards and practices
  • Provides subject leadership for the design, engineering, implementation and management of enterprise voice solutions with high reliability and availability
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work closely with customers, peers and management
  • Expert knowledge of voice protocols and codecs - SIP, MGCP, SCCP, g711, g729, etc
  • Expert knowledge of QoS for VoIP
  • Works independently and exercises reasonable judgment with little supervision while providing clear documentation of activities and accomplishments
  • Isolates and corrects problems with speed and accuracy while escalating when additional resources are needed or management escalation is required
  • Provides strategic technical direction, roadmap design, installation, and configuration of all IP-based telephone systems/services

                                              

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • 3-5 years minimum of experience with Mitel platform, network implementations, diagramming, code updating and firmware patching, project planning, and management of third party vendors
  • Experience with monitoring tools and setup
  • Voice technology experience within house PBX and hosted PBX systems.
  • Experience managing voice and data circuit installs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team
  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Able to plan and prioritize and work with the business side
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or related field.
