Sr. UX Designer

Medical Solutions creates software to support every aspect of a healthcare clinician’s career and the hospitals that staff them to reduce friction, increase operational efficiency, and improve healthcare outcomes.

The Product Team at team at Medical Solutions consists of research analysts, product managers and UX designers that create and transform ideas into disruptive products.

We are looking for a Senior User Experience Designer to join the to create products and services that thousands of people use. In this position, you will own the design and experience methodologies and processes we use to develop new products and be nimble enough to work on multiple projects at various stages of the development cycle with fluid requirements. We are looking for someone excited about building solutions to disrupt the healthcare staffing industry.

• Work directly with product managers, developers, and analysts to conceptualize and build the scope of new products
• Deliver quality, functional, maintainable designs
• Own UX templates, methodologies, and libraries for all Medical Solutions products
• Works with product managers to determine priority and assess timelines
• Be a committed agile teammate that pitches in to help the team reach their goals
• Enforce industry and company best practices within the broader UX team
• Responsible for documenting all programs to the required company standard
• Continually learn and stay up to date with the ever-changing technical landscape
• Mentor other team members on new technologies and practices
• Impact and inspire, celebrate and focus on the happiness of others

• Demonstrable proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Photoshop
• A minimum of 4 years designing and developing user interfaces for both web and native mobile applications
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Ability to work independently
• Experience in a startup or small team environment preferred
