The Medicare Success Advisor will focus on improving VIVA’s STAR ratings for quality of service and member satisfaction through member outreach and engagement to retain existing members. This position will play a vital role when it comes to enhancing the member experience through targeted initiatives. This position will coordinate retention efforts with the Medicare Retention Coordinator, Medicare leadership, Sales and Marketing, and other areas within the Company to identify member needs and make recommendations related to retention. This position has work-from-home opportunities but requires occasional on-site work.

REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years of call center experience 
  • 2 years of experience in a Managed Care/HMO environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as a thorough knowledge of medical terminology
  • Highly motivated, goal‐oriented, and willing to work over and above a 40‐hour week to satisfy departmental goals when required
  • Ability to multitask to handle priorities
  • Good leadership skills
  • Good interpersonal skills to create a positive relationship with team members
  • Ability to understand the requirement for flexibility and accommodate shifting priorities
  • Ability to perform day‐to‐day responsibilities with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment, maintaining confidentiality, and communicating with discretion
  • Ability to work under pressure from deadlines and goals
  • Ability to complete all company-required, job-specific, and departmental training

PREFERRED:

  • Associate’s degree
  • Experience working with the elderly population
