If so, Guardian is seeking a Leader of Advisory Market Implementation.
In this role, as Leader over the Advisory Market Implementation team, you are responsible for ensuring our Advisory customers (broker, employers, and employees) have a positive implementation experience, including the accurate set up of electronic data interchange to support ongoing enrollment maintenance. The position focuses on creating processes, building team knowledge, and providing exceptional consumer experiences through the development of people and leveraging technology to improve overall efficiency and reduce unit costs. Responsible for leading and supporting efforts to operationalize and support new strategic initiatives and the management and oversight of Team Leaders who oversee front-line staff. In addition, this role manages the day-to-day operational activities and development of a team of Senior Implementation Managers.
You will:
Provide operational leadership within Advisory Market, including onboarding, setting up and amending plans in our administration system and setting up plans to enable EDI (and other methods) data exchange.
Execute the Advisory Market Implementation strategy from notice of sale through the first payment and successful set up of the EDI files to meet key objectives that drive profitability and persistency.
Collaborate with leaders across the enterprise to strategize and implement solutions to complex client implementations.
Identify effective service improvements and streamline processes to increase client satisfaction and retention.
Develop staffing plans that support forecasted needs of the department and monitor and manage approved budget.
Establish, lead, and supervise key performance metrics to deliver best- in-class implementation experience to meet employee and customer needs and financial targets.
Research best practices and benchmarks to identify gaps in service capabilities as well as drive the needed changes to remain competitive in the market.
Drive Operational Excellence in building consistent, streamlined operating processes to drive efficiency and reduce unit costs.
You have:
5-10 years of leadership positions in implementation and/or customer service processes and operations.
Demonstrated experience with implementing and servicing customers in the 1000+ size segment.
Knowledge of Absence products and PEO’s and the capabilities needed to support customers.
Knowledgeable of Benefit Administration vendors, data exchange formats and how to integrate with Benefit Administration technology partners.
Experience leading complex implementations.
Demonstrated experience in managing partnerships both internal and external.
Knowledgeable of Workforce Management methodology and tools
Strong technical background in operations with demonstrated analytics and analysis capability.
Collaborative leadership and client relationship management with Sales and other key partners.
Knowledge of industry trends and expertise in the Large Market segment.
Reporting Relationships:
This position reports to the Head of Advisory Market Implementation and Transformation, who reports to the Head of Group Benefits Operations.
Location:
Hybrid role - 2 days in office, 3 days WFH and can be based in any Guadian office located in Bethlehem, PA; Holmdel, NJ; Hudson Yards, NYC; Boston, MA. We will consider remote candidates if experience is aligned.
Travel – up to 20%.
Salary Range
$82,660.00 - $135,805.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
