Job description

The Payroll Processor will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls accurately and on time.

  • Verify and enter employee time and attendance data.

  • Calculate wages, overtime, and deductions.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports.

  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries.

  • Maintain payroll records and documentation.

  • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation.

  • Manage and process employee garnishments, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and timely deductions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minium of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Processor

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Workday Payroll module

Professional Skills Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll procedures and regulations

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
