About The Role:  

This role works cross functionally across Marketing, Merchant teams and Franchise Operations to ensure go to market plans and store level marketing activities are delivered and executed to drive store traffic and sales.

Workplace Arrangements:

This role will follow a hybrid remote/onsite schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Ottawa Head Office, on Walkley Road approximately 2 time a month.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Execute flyer production activities in collaboration with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate flyer distribution.
  • Produce communications to cross functional stakeholders and franchise partners to inform of Marketing activities to ensure partners are informed and able to execute go to market plans effectively.
  • To collect and analyze competitive marketing activity to support the development of relevant Marketing Strategies and Plans. 
  • Develop and Implement store level marketing strategies in response to store or franchise operations requests (due to performance); store openings; relocations and renovations. Responsible for developing plans which support achievement of store opening day KPI, including sales and transactions
  • To coordinate and facilitate the Marketing intake process to best deliver business KPI using existing resources. 
  • Develop go to market plans for strategic priorities including development of marketing channel support recommendations, plus ad-hoc support for other marketing projects as needed

What You’ll Bring:

  • Post-secondary/University degree in a marketing and/or strategic planning discipline
  • 3 - 5 years of marketing experience, preferably within retail sector
  • Strong business acumen and problem solving skills, with the ability to understand the significance of opportunities associated with market environment (customer mindset, competitive activity) and financial metrics
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations for improvement within season and future planning
