Title: Observation Services Jr. Scheduler and Data Analyst
Department: Observation Services               

Reports to: Director of Observation Services
Type of Position: Project Based Full Time Employee (until August 30, 2025)
Hours per Week: 40

Role Overview:

Teachstone is looking for a Jr. Scheduler and Data Analyst to support a critical component of our Live Observations team. You are someone who understands the power of data. You have an incredible attention to detail and value data integrity. You have an improvement mindset and enjoy working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and possess excellent people skills and customer service for high-stake clients. This role may require up to 10% travel.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the scheduling process for Video and Other Live observation projects 
    • Intake of new data for scheduling
    • Manage scheduling and rescheduling of observations
    • Work closely with Project Team and clients to ensure scheduling communication is accurate
    • Support the Project Teams in tracking the details of all observations through various tools
    • Create and maintain working versions of the project schedules utilizing Google sheets or other tools
    • Maintain clear and accurate records of all scheduling changes
  • Complete TimeSheet Mobile (TSM) uploads for all projects
  • Provide scheduling support for Enterprise observation projects as needed
  • Analyze observation data, observer, and client feedback to drive continuous improvement of observations and services
    • Use Open Source/Digital technologies to mine complex, voluminous, and different varieties of data sources and platforms
    • Work collaboratively with appropriate Tech teams to manage security mechanisms and data access governance
    • Build and execute tools to monitor and report on data quality
  • Work with OS Director to identify efficiencies in the delivery of services using automation and technology
    • Provide support build of well-managed data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers
    • Partner with other business units to provide consultancy and translate the business needs to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization
  • Provide support for reporting as needed
  • Support various observation projects simultaneously
  • Other duties as assigned 

Role Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in math or computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent Excel and Google Sheets skills, including the ability to create Google Sheets scripts
  • SQL experience
  • Experience with report writing/business intelligence/data visualization tools
  • Desire to learn
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities and changing expectations
  • Enjoy working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Analytical and detailed oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and listening
  • Think at both a big-picture and detailed level
  • Comfortable working in person, in the cloud, etc. 

Role Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights from data sets. Experience with data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or similar tool may be advantageous
  • Javascript experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with the CLASS methodology
  • Multilingual
  • Experience with AirTable, Asana, and Toggl
