Position Summary

HR Generalist (Full-time/Hybrid) in Brno, Czech Republic

As an HR Generalist in our global SaaS-based fintech company, you play a crucial role in shaping our people-first culture.  You will be a qualified professional with specialized expertise in HRIS and Talent Acquisition who is passionate about HR innovation.  This role will be instrumental in optimizing our HR technology infrastructure, ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations, driving our recruitment strategies, and supporting culture and engagement initiatives alongside the HR Strategy team.

This full-time position offers hybrid working flexibility, with 2 days per week in our Brno office.

Essential Position Functions

  • HRIS Management and Optimization
    • Lead the management and improvement of our HRIS platforms
    • Develop strategies to enhance efficiency, data accuracy and process improvement
    • Configure HRIS modules to meet evolving business needs
    • Generate reports and analytics to inform HR strategy
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
    • Partner with hiring managers to execute effective recruitment strategies
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle
    • Implement innovative sourcing techniques
    • Ensure onboarding immerses new hires in our culture
  • Payroll and Benefits
    • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing
    • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations
    • Provide guidance on EMEA pension schemes
  • Culture and Engagement
    • Implement programs promoting employee engagement and well-being
    • Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives
    • Serve as a trusted advisor for employee inquiries

Requirements

Qualifications

    • Proven experience in progressive HR within a global, tech-focused environment
    • Exceptional written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset
    • Comprehensive understanding of Czech employment requirements
    • Professional HR qualification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
    • Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms
    • Detail-oriented with a process improvement mindset
    • Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle
    • Cultural intelligence and ability to work across diverse, remote teams
    • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving environment
    • Commitment to continuous learning, staying current with HR tech and trends
