Theoria Medical Finance Department is looking for talented individuals to join its team.

Shift Structure

  • Official Job Title: Accounting Officer
  • Office Location: Work-from-home set-up
  • Shift Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST Monday to Friday

Employment Type

  • Full-time, Non-Exempt

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive compensation (P50k-P70k per month)

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Utilize technical and analytical skills to create charts and graphs for visual understanding
  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis
  • Present financial reports and estimates to management on a determined schedule
  • Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
  • Support financial reporting processes for internal and external reporting
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Participate in system upgrades, standardization of accounting process, and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and reporting deadlines
  • Ensure transactions are performed within a sound internal control environment
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including creating standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
  • Constantly update job knowledge
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant with at least 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Proven working experience as a Finance officer, internal audit, or any related tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred
  • Experience in merchandising and healthcare financial processes and reporting preferred
  • Exposure in accounting software, especially Quickbooks, preferred
  • Exposure in payroll software such as Paychex, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High level skills in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and sumifs functions
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Must handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion
  • Knowledge of standard accounting practices and procedures required
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills and a control mindset
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-directed with excellent time management skills and resourcefulness, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot based on changing internal and external factors
  • Willingness to provide assistance when needed

Physical Requirements

  • Must be punctual or on time and adhere to the company's Time and Attendance policy.
  • Must be able to remain sitting for the majority of their shift.
