Job description

This is a remote position.

As an SAP CS/SD Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Customer Service (CS) and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules to meet client-specific business requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders, including business users, developers, and other consultants, to ensure the effective delivery of SAP solutions that enhance customer service, sales order processing, billing, and overall customer experience.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for SAP CS (Customer Service) and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Design, configure, and customize SAP CS and SD modules to support processes such as service order management, repair processing, billing, service contracts, sales order processing, pricing, shipping, and invoicing.
  • Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the quality and reliability of SAP CS/SD solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP CS/SD issues, resolving them in a timely manner to minimize business disruptions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP CS/SD with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, FI/CO) and third-party applications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals.
  • Train end-users and key stakeholders on SAP CS/SD functionalities, best practices, and new features to maximize system utilization.
  • Work with project managers and team members to ensure the successful delivery of SAP projects and enhancements within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize SAP CS/SD processes, enhance system performance, and drive user adoption.
  • Stay current with SAP innovations, best practices, and industry trends related to Customer Service and Sales and Distribution modules.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as an SAP CS/SD Consultant, with hands-on experience in configuring and supporting SAP CS (Customer Service) and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules.
  • Strong understanding of SAP CS processes, including service notifications, service orders, repair processing, warranties, and returns.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP SD processes, including sales order processing, pricing, billing, shipping, credit management, and invoicing.
  • Experience with integration between SAP CS/SD and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, FI/CO) and familiarity with IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs.
  • Proficiency in creating functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and user training materials.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP CS/SD issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
