Job description

Guidewire is widely recognized as the leading provider of software solutions for the property and casualty insurance industry. Our software offers property and casualty insurance companies the tools to take care of their customers when they need it the most, whether that is a time of crisis, a natural disaster, an accident, or exposure to cyber risks.

We are looking for a strong Architect to join our Early Access and Adoption (EAA) team. Guidewire’s Early Access and Adoption team is responsible for ensuring new product capabilities can be adopted quickly and predictably for GA - for more value and less cost - for both new and migrating customers.

We are a team of highly experienced product and delivery experts dedicated to driving predictable adoption of product capabilities as they become generally available (GA). As a part of the product development organization, we are integrated into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from feature planning and design throughout development with a focus on adoption impacts. We work alongside implementation teams and other stakeholders on initial customer early access (EA) projects providing expert guidance as trusted advisors. We are accountable for creating and harvesting valuable learnings and applicable generalized content and publishing this via official documentation as product adoption resources to help support scaled adoption for GA.

This is a remote role based in the United States which does not require to be in office. In this role, you will lead a team of experts focused on enabling adoption of the latest InsuranceSuite application areas and broad cloud platform capabilities as they progress from development, through early access programs and general availability.

As a leader within the Early Access and Adoption team, you will work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment both internally within product development and externally with early access customers projects to assess product adoption impacts, verify target use cases, and provide early feedback as domain experts. You will also become an expert with prioritized capabilities and drive harvesting and creation of learnings and applicable generalized content. This would be an individual contributor role.

  • Prepares for the upcoming capabilities to contribute in the creation of the EAA onboarding plan. Owns some parts of the EAA onboarding for capabilities as well through self assignments.
  • Owns inception and execution of internal POCs for EA capabilities including identifying and designing workarounds to product gaps
  • Ability to do hands-on development of code as needed to evaluate new capabilities, conduct POCs, workarounds as needed.
  • Certification in multiple Guidewire products functionally
