Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Specialist to join our A/B Testing team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying that A/B tests are set up correctly and are functioning across websites, email flows, and other systems. You'll collaborate closely with design, development, and copywriting teams to validate test setups and confirm they align with test objectives. While prior experience with A/B testing is a plus, training will be provided as needed. Additionally, you'll have access to the ChatGPT team to assist with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough QA testing on general website and A/B tests, confirming proper setup and functionality across devices, browsers, and platforms.
  • Collaborate with design, development, and CRO teams to validate test setups, ensuring they meet design and functional requirements.
  • Perform functional testing of front-end and back-end systems to identify any potential issues during A/B test execution.
  • Verify that test goals, hypotheses, tracking, and copywriting are implemented accurately.
  • Monitor live A/B tests and provide timely feedback on any performance issues or inconsistencies.
  • Confirm the correct setup of test variants, audience targeting, and tracking through analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Convert.com).
  • Document and report bugs, issues, or anomalies found during the QA process.
  • Assist in creating detailed QA checklists and processes for A/B testing cycles.
  • Work closely with development teams to address and resolve test issues promptly.
  • Conduct QA not only for websites but also for email flows and other systems to improve overall efficiency.
  • Support copywriting efforts, ensuring content is clear, engaging, and aligned with test objectives.
  • Stay updated on the latest A/B testing tools, practices, and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a QA Specialist or in a similar role, ideally within A/B testing or CRO environments (training will be provided if necessary).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and inconsistencies in tests.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics and Convert, with the ability to effectively utilize these tools for test setup and analysis.
  • Ability to validate front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) across different devices and browsers.
  • Basic understanding of design principles and copywriting to ensure tests align with objectives.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tests and meet deadlines in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in CRO teams
  • Experience running A/B tests is a plus.
  • Experience with automated testing tools.
  • Understanding of basic UX/UI design principles.
  • Familiarity with ChatGPT and willingness to leverage AI for task optimization (team access will be provided).
