Information Security ResponsibilitiesAwareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password securityUnderstand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assetsUnderstand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpointRESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for designing the architecture of software systems from end to end.Make critical decisions regarding the selection of technologies, frameworks, and tools that will be used in the development process. This involves evaluating the pros and cons of different options and choosing the best fit for the project's needs.Provide technical guidance to development teams, ensuring that coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines are followed.Engage in hands-on coding, particularly when it comes to creating core components or addressing complex technical challenges.Oversee the integration of various system components, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between front-end, back-end, and third-party services.Implement and manage CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines to automate the deployment process, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of software updates.Ensure that the system can scale efficiently to handle increased load and user demand is a crucial aspect of their role. This involves designing scalable architectures and optimizing performance.Set up monitoring tools and frameworks to continuously track system performance, quickly identifying and resolving any issues that arise.Implement robust security measures to protect the system from vulnerabilities and threats. This includes securing data, ensuring safe communication, and adhering to industry standards.Ensure that the system complies with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR for data protection or HIPAA for healthcare applications.Work closely with other stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and business analysts, to align technical solutions with business goals.Create detailed documentation for the architecture and provide training to development teams to ensure a clear understanding of the system’s design and functionality.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONProficiency in multiple programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or Ruby is essential.
