POSITION SUMMARY:

The NetSuite Technical Analyst will be responsible for the technical administration, configuration, and support of the NetSuite ERP system. This role involves working closely with various departments to understand their needs and provide technical solutions to improve business processes. The position requires a proactive, hands-on analyst with a focus on continuous improvement. The candidate will support systems engineering management activities including but not limited to defining requirements (interviewing stakeholders, documenting requirements and workflow process documents, conducting gap analyses, defining to-be state), preparing templates and checklists for SDLC stage gate reviews for GxP compliance, developing SOPs for systems engineering processes in compliance with specified standards and best practices, support data strategy and data migration plan development. May include development of data visualizations in PowerBI. The NetSuite Technical Analyst will have a strong customer focus, regularly interfacing with all levels of staff from entry level to Executive Leadership across internal and external business partners to drive exceptional value for our business. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • System Management:
    • Perform day-to-day operations of the NetSuite ERP system, including configuration, administration, and maintenance.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system-related problems in a timely manner.
  • Customization & Optimization:
    • Customize and enhance NetSuite modules and workflows to align with business processes and requirements.
    • Develop and maintain saved searches, reports, and dashboards to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
  • User Support & Training:
    • Provide support to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues.
    • Assist with the development and delivery of training materials and sessions for new and existing users to ensure effective utilization of the NetSuite system.
  • Data Management:
    • Oversee data imports, exports, and integrations with other systems as needed.
  • System Upgrades & Implementations:
    • Collaborate with the Lead ERP Analyst to execute system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations.
    • Assist the Lead ERP Analyst in the evaluation and implementation of additional NetSuite modules or third-party applications.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    • Assist with the maintenance of comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a NetSuite Administrator or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of NetSuite functionalities and best practices.
  • Experience supporting at least two of the following business processes within the NetSuite ERP: Order to Cash, Demand to Build, Procure to Pay, Financials
  • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP, including SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk.
  • Experience with NetSuite integrations, customizations, and report generation.
  • Familiarity with SQL, JavaScript, and web technologies is a plus.
  • Experience building system integrations with common middleware platforms and APIs
  • Experience managing EDI integrations with trading partners
  • Experience managing product label development with Loftware, Nicelabel, ZPL or similar technologies
  • NetSuite Administrator Certification preferred
  • Advanced SQL (SAP HANA, SQL Server, or similar technologies) and relational database knowledge required
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and SAP Business Objects or similar technologies
  • Working knowledge of ETL and Dimensional Data Modeling concepts
  • Experience implementing GxP systems in the Medical Device, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing industries preferred 

 

 

Physical Requirements:

Light work:  Physically handle objects up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
