Description

The Real Estate Portfolio Consultant will assess and make recommendations on a large LA-based utility company’s real estate assets, ensuring that the utility’s property portfolio is managed effectively, following best practices for lifecycle management and expansion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the utility company’s real estate assets, identifying life cycle stages and best practices for management.
  • Develop a catalog of public properties in the Los Angeles area and throughout California for potential expansion of utility corridors.
  • Provide recommendations on securing properties and expanding the utility’s facilities.
  • Deliver comprehensive reports on the lifecycle evaluations of current assets and management practices.
  • Catalog and report on public properties suitable for expansion of utility corridors.
  • Provide periodic updates and final reports detailing best practices for securing and managing real estate assets.
  • Maintain continuous documentation and reporting as per the strategic requirements of the organization.

Requirements

  • Strong background in real estate portfolio management, especially for public utilities.
  • Knowledge of California real estate regulations and market conditions.
  • Experience in evaluating and managing large real estate portfolios.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

Travel

Quarterly travel to Los Angeles, CA is required for this role.
