About Dexcom’s Summer Intern Program:  

Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing the lives of patients with diabetes? Dexcom’s U.S. 12-week internship program provides an experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our onsite, hybrid, and remote work models ensure that we can invite diverse and talented intern classes from across the country. Interns will have the chance to gain knowledge and develop their skills while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. Internship Department Details:  

  • Department Name: Clinical Data Management
  • Business Function: Support the clinical data management team in managing, cleaning, and efficiently delivering study data.
  • Team Highlights: Clinical Data Management team plays an important role in processing and managing clinical trial data to ensure data integrity and compliance. Leveraging advanced technology and data management system to streamline the process from data collection to cleaning and final delivery. You will have opportunities to closely work with cross-functional teams.

Where you come in:  

  • You have completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics or a related field.
  • You will have a master's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field, or a professional degree in medical or healthcare-related areas is highly desirable.
  • You possess interests in healthcare industry or clinical trials.
  • You bring strong verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with team members.

  • Your proficiency in data analysis, statistical programming (SAS/SQL), and data visualization (PowerBI) supports efficient work in DM team.
  • Your familiarity with medical or clinical trial-related fields enables you quickly take over the ongoing projects.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Intern II  

  • Requires a completed Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Must be a currently enrolled Master’s, JD, or PhD student at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later. 

Non-Exempt Salary Details:

Intern II

The annualized base salary range for this role is $29.00 to $45.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand. 

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
