Student Legal Assistant

Join Contractbook as our very first Student Legal Assistant, where you will serve as the internal legal counsel, helping to shape the future of our legal products, including the potential integration of AI-driven solutions. In this part-time role, you will support both external counsel and internal stakeholders with various legal matters, such as sales-related legal questions, contract negotiations, and GDPR issues. We are looking for someone ambitious, with the potential to grow with us as we push the boundaries of what’s possible in legal tech.

In this role, you will:

• Support Contractbook's legal matters globally.
• Assist internal stakeholders with ad hoc legal tasks and advice.
• Create legal FAQs for external use.
• Continue to build upon internal legal processes.
• Become a super-user of Contractbook, understanding how legal operations and contracts should work inside-out, and influence how our product is shaped.
• Support external counsel.

We are looking for someone with:

• The ability to be honest and direct while being hands-on and proactive.
• The aptitude for structuring various contracts from scratch, such as employment contracts and sales agreements.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • GDPR.
  • General contract law.
  • Legal operations or legal tech (having it as a hobby counts too!)
