Are you a fully clinically licensed counselor or clinically licensed social worker looking to make a positive impact in the world of virtual mental health services? We are hiring individuals with a passion for counseling to service our growing EAP Network of clients. This completely remote position will allow you to operate from the comfort of your own home while still providing your community with the mental health support that they need.

 Responsibilities

  • Provide assessments and short-term counseling services using a brief solution focused model
  • Ability to provide counseling within a 50-minute session with documentation taking place during the balance of the counseling hour
  • Attend continuous learning sessions, training, and case consultations on a regular basis
  • Meet sessional, containment, and other targets as defined by the Clinical Manager
  • Provide telephone consultations related to crisis or assessed urgent situations when required
  • Comfortable navigating internal operating systems, retrieving organizational information, and communicating with clients
  • Remain informed on relevant regulatory and legislative developments

 Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or related field
  • Must be fully clinically licensed; anyone without a license will not be considered
  • Examples of appropriate licenses include but are not limited to – LCPC, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, and LMFT
  • Currently prioritizing counselors with clinical licenses in the following states: California, Indiana, Texas.
  • Minimum 1-2 years post-Master’s clinical experience, including such areas of focus as crisis services, community mental health, or substance use services where anxiety, depression, workplace stress, etc. are common issues of concern for the clients
  • Candidates with an intern or associate-based licenses will not be considered
  • Must be able to work mostly evening & late evenings
  • Ability to work with all age groups, families, & couples

 Knowledge/Skills:

  • Excellent communication, problem solving, collaboration, cultural competency, time management and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Windows NT environment, basic typing skills).
  • Strict adherence to the ethical principles governing confidentiality/privacy legislation.

 Preferred Skills

  • Short-term solution focused or EAP counseling experience
