Collins Aerospace is looking for an PC Support Technician based out of the PBI Airport in West Palm Beach, Florida. The PC Support Technician will assist in providing basic technical support for computers, servers, peripherals, and associated networks. This individual will be performing these duties in a face-to-face customer environment. The PC Support Technician will perform shift work in a 24x7x365 environment.

Techs do 5 eight hour shifts a week. Shifts to be determined at a later date.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. – not sure why this is needed. This strictly an onsite role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Installing/replacing hardware (computers, printers, laptops, etc.) and validating solution implementation is completed

  • Responds to any trouble calls from the Customer(s)

  • Troubleshoot and identify hardware errors in computers, printers, laptops, etc.

  • Work with asset, spares, and consumables management

  • Perform quarterly preventative maintenance on workstations and peripherals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR

  • In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as a field technician role or comparable experience

  • Knowledge and experience with Windows 7 and 10 platforms

  • Possess troubleshooting skills, and the ability to identify hardware errors in computers, printers, laptops, etc.

  • Understands SLAs, severity levels, and industry best practices.

  • Possess strong communication skills (verbal and written English and French)

  • Experience with asset, spares, and consumables management
