Senior MIS Executive

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain management information systems, including databases and reporting tools
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies for actionable insights
• Create and present reports and dashboards to management to facilitate informed decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and optimize data collection processes
• Identify and address data quality issues to ensure accuracy and reliability of information
• Implement and maintain data governance and security best practices
• Provide technical support and training to end users on MIS tools and systems
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new MIS technologies
• Participate in strategic planning by providing data-driven recommendations
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives based on MIS insights
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in MIS and data analytics
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Lead and mentor junior MIS staff

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proven experience in MIS analysis and database management
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and concise manner
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations
• Experience in project management and process improvement
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across multiple functions
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
• Strong organizational and time management skills
