We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join Tietoevry Banking's dynamic team. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the specific needs of the banking industry. You will collaborate with a team of software engineers and professionals to create high-quality, reliable, and scalable software applications for the banking sector.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop software solutions for the banking industry
Design and implement software applications according to specifications
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java, JavaScript, and Python
Create unit and integration tests
Troubleshoot and debug software issues as they arise
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and frameworks relevant to the banking industry
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows and best practices
Requirements:
Experience in programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Python
Familiarity with software development methodologies and practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Experience with front-end development using frameworks such as React, Typescript
Experience with C++, SQL or Spring technologies will be considered as advantage
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Linux
Knowledge of banking industry regulations and security considerations
