📌 Position Title: Accountant
🌍 Location: India
💰 Salary: Up to $18,000 (INR 15,00,000) p.a.
⏰ Working Rhythm: Monday to Friday with an 8-hour workday. Flexibility is provided, but at least 4–5 hours overlap with the UK time zone is required. Occasionally, expect busier days to handle critical priorities.
📝 Contract Type: Full-time Contractor Agreement
🤝 Reporting To: Finance Controller
✈️ Travel: No travel required.
📅 Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities 🎯

  • Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and the general ledger. Assist with monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
  • Cash Flow Management and Vendor Payments: Track expenditures, plan cash flow, and ensure timely vendor payments aligned with budgets.
  • Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes using accounting tools and technology.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations.
  • Support Forecasting and Analysis: Collaborate with the Finance Controller on financial forecasting and trend analysis.
