About Heroes

Heroes buys, operates, and scales baby and juvenile brands.

We are ambitious multi-brand developers combining operational excellence with customer-centricity to support parents and children through every milestone of their journey. Built by a team with a background in investment banking, venture capital, and D2C eCommerce, we have the right experience to nurture and grow brands and develop products that simplify, support, and enrich everyday family experiences.

At Heroes, we leave our egos behind, get our hands dirty, and push through obstacles to get things over the finish line. If this sounds like you, you should join us.

About the role

Join Heroes as Health & Personal Care Category Manager and lead the charge in shaping innovative, market-leading products. In this role, you will be pivotal in defining and executing our product strategy, managing product development from scoping to launch, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, external agencies, suppliers, and factories. • Work closely with internal teams, external agencies, suppliers, and factories to ensure high product quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Manage the commercial aspects of product development, including budgeting, cost management, and profitability analysis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with various teams within Heroes, including sales and operations, to ensure product alignment with broader business strategies.
  • Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and suppliers to uphold high standards throughout the product life cycle.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the key liaison between the product function and stakeholders, ensuring alignment across departments and external partners.
  • Communicate product vision and progress to senior leadership and other relevant parties.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Oversee the product development budget, ensuring effective resource allocation to meet strategic goals.
  • Balance short-term objectives with the long-term product vision.

Self-Leadership and Personal Development:

  • Maintain a sustainable workload and stay motivated, continuously reflecting on work to enhance leadership skills.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and product management innovations.

About you
  • Demonstrated success in managing product development, collaborating with suppliers, agencies, and factories, and managing commercial aspects.
