A Summary of What You Will Do

The Account Executive, Health Plan Sales is responsible for driving growth by establishing and securing new contracts with health plans and payers. This individual will lead efforts to identify, engage, and partner with healthcare payers to expand Movn Health’s services in virtual cardiac rehabilitation and other relevant areas, which significantly helps to achieve our mission to provide equitable access to cardiovascular care, so people can lead longer, healthier lives.

How You Will Contribute To Our Mission

  • Close New Deals With Payers: Close deals with key decision-makers within health plans and payer organizations to secure contracts for Movn Health's virtual cardiac rehab services. Establish long-term partnerships that lead to renewals and expansions.
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to payer needs, effectively communicating Movn Health’s value proposition.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations from initiation through execution, ensuring favorable terms that align with the company’s business objectives.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective health plan partners, managing relationships from initial contact through contract execution.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, payer needs, and competitive landscape to identify and prioritize opportunities for partnerships.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, clinical teams, and leadership to align partnerships with overall company goals.
  • Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all partnerships comply with relevant regulations, guidelines, and contractual requirements.
  • Results: Drive results through focused execution. Consistently meet or exceed targets and demonstrate commitment to delivering impactful partnerships that advance our mission.
  • Effective Decision Making: Make informed decisions quickly, adjusting tactics as needed to seize opportunities or respond to challenges.

Metrics of Success

New Contracts Signed: Direct contribution to revenue growth by achieving target number of new health plan partnerships within defined timeframes.

What Skills You Will Need

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in healthcare business development, partnerships, or payer contracting roles, preferably within virtual health, cardiac rehabilitation, or chronic disease management.
  • Existing Relationships: A proven track record of working with health plans and payers, with an established roster of contacts at key organizations you can leverage immediately to drive new contracts.
  • Proven Success in Contract Negotiations: Demonstrated success in securing significant contracts with health plans, negotiating favorable terms, and driving revenue growth.
  • Strategic Thinking & Execution: Ability to understand payer needs, develop tailored value propositions, and close deals that align with both Movn Health’s and the payer’s objectives.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, compelling way.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements related to payer contracts.
