As SVP, Strategy, you are responsible for ensuring the quality of strategic deliverables for a substantial set of accounts. You will be building, developing, and leading a team of strategists who are focused on deriving targeted, transformative insights that fuel brand strategies, tactical initiatives, and behavior-changing creative campaigns. This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves, see-the-big-picture, and understand-the-details kind of job.
You will help conceive and refine processes that enhance collaboration among strategy, scientific, creative, and account teams, to produce strategic recommendations that lead to significant brand results. As an inspirational leader, you will consistently strive to bring out the best from your team.
What you'll do Consult on the analysis of qualitative and quantitative research relating to audience (HCP, patient, and caregiver), brand, culture, and media channels to derive meaningful insightsOversee the development of strategy maps, brand maps, and brand ladders, the articulation of insights and promises, and the development of personas, as well as customer journeys and ecosystemsAdvise Strategists, Account leads, Scientific Directors and Creative Directors to create tight, inspiring creative briefs and translate brand insights into ideasMonitor cultural and social trends, their impact on target attitudes, behavior and perceptions, using a variety of market and research dataClearly communicate and present ideas, POVs, and strategies to internal teams, clients, and prospective clientsInform the development of and facilitate workshops using strategic tools and frameworksMentor, coach, and counsel strategy team members to facilitate their growth and developmentAbout youBachelor's degree in related field (eg. Marketing, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Statistics); Master's degree ideal12+ years strategic planning or marketing experience in a healthcare/pharma advertising agency environmentRelevant category and launch experienceExperience with HCP and patient marketing, including Pharma brand launchExperience utilizing strategic tools for analysisExperience building and facilitating client workshopsProven track record building and leading teams Superb and persuasive communications skills, both written and verbalAdept at storytellingWhat we can offer
