This is a remote position open to applicants in FL, IL, KS, MI, OH, PA, TX, UT, & WI only.


THE OPPORTUNITY

The Outside Sales Solution Consultant is responsible for promoting CUSG products and becoming a CUSG product subject matter expert. This position identifies business opportunities by developing new prospects and interacting with existing clients. This role assists credit unions in their research and understanding of products and services and advise credit unions of the benefits of CUSG products to improve the lives of their customers.


THE WORK ITSELF

  • Prospects and builds a sales pipeline through management of leads generated by marketing initiatives via outbound calling, email communications, and other direct marketing methods.
  • Develop a sales pipeline from hosting webinars, in person networking and trade show events.
  • Facilitate training and implementation of partnership programs
  • Attend Tradeshows and Business networking events
  • Develop partner cobranded marketing plans
  • Consult with partner clients and navigate conversations to specific products
  • Conducts regular calls to develop client relations, cross sell products and follow-up on leads.
  • Creates and maintains sales tools
  • Schedules and conducts webinar demonstrations with top level credit union management and staff to demonstrate new products and present proposals.
  • Works with sales team members to help coordinate customer/prospective customer attendance at group presentations.
  • Compile all client interaction and activity in company CRM system.
  • Shares feedback and makes recommendations as appropriate to management regarding product development, pricing, sales projections, placement and promotions.
  • Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date of changes and developments in the area of Employee Performance Management and Human Resources industries products.
  • Establishes and maintains effective and proactive working relations, communication and coordination with MCUL & Affiliates employees and management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


THE SKILLS YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred, but not required.
  • Strong computer skills with work experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous inside and outside sales experience required.
  • Strong ability to adjust to change and work requirements.
  • Strong Diagnostic skills and ability to discover client needs
  • Strong persuasive, networking and consultative skills.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and group communications skills, both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • High sense of urgency and responsiveness with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong innovation skills.
