The Senior Product Manager will work with customers and stakeholders to identify the key problems to solve, partner with Product Development and User Experience to prototype potential solutions, and ultimately design, build, and deliver solutions to our customers that add real value.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Product Discovery & Empowered Product Team Collaboration (70%)
As a Senior Product Manager, one of your main responsibilities is to ensure you’re building solutions that are valuable to the customer and viable for the business. This means you need to build solutions that solve the right customer problems. Knowing what the right problems to solve are is what Product discovery is all about. Through close partnership with your “empowered product team” colleagues in UX and Software Development, and with both qualitative and quantitative data about your product, your customers, and your market, you’ll conduct rapid prototyping to test hypotheses and hone in on the right problems to solve that generate maximum value for your customers.
Leadership & Communication (30%)
As the Senior Product Manager for your product, you’ll become the product expert on your solution. The “go-to” person responsible for the product strategy, the product roadmap, and working with Product Marketing on external messaging. You will communicate with all stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Implementation, and others to ensure everyone is reminded what the core value proposition is, what the latest capabilities are, and what new and exciting features and capabilities are just around the corner. You are your product’s primary evangelist and champion.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technology, information systems or software engineering course of study or relevant experience required
- 6 years of experience in product management or a field related to software product development
- 2 years leading cross-functional teams
- Experience with computer aided design software (CAD) or Computer aided design alternative software or BIM software required
- Familiarity with software used in by contractors, lumber yards, or the residential building industry preferred
- Vision: Must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality
- Communication: Ability to write in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience. Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, team members and customers.
- Teamwork: Ability to build and sustain cooperative working relationships.
- Influencing others: Ability to influence others in a positive and effective way that leads to strong collaboration and alignment.

Pay
$89000 -$181400 / year
* Posted pay range is based upon national average and may vary depending on geographical work location.
