Job Description

The Commercial Acceleration Director (CAD) plays a crucial role in our Livestock Business Unit, reporting to the Global Species Business Unit Lead. The CAD drives global strategic direction and ensures alignment with relevant functions. They strategically map opportunities, plan, lead, and execute critical business initiatives for long-term success. Working closely with senior leaders, the CAD accelerates execution, achieves goals, and enhances market performance. Moreover, collaborates with markets on defining roadmaps, monitors execution, guides change, identifies risks, and reviews projects. The CAD interfaces with global marketing, technical, regional business leads, key account managers, and commercial teams to align company objectives and drive customer success. Responsibilities include defining project milestones, measuring success with metrics, and reporting to leadership. The CAD provides insights and recommendations for business strategy enhancement. They oversee diverse initiatives, such as new product launches, innovative business models, biopharma and technology solutions, and customer segmentation strategies. In summary, the CAD plays a pivotal role in driving global execution of the Priority business initiative with the designated type of Customer and building enterprise focus on top customers.

Essential Accountabilities:

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drive launch excellence: Successfully deliver 5YP numbers for designated  product line, ensuring a seamless and effective product launch.

  • Map TOP50 global customers: Identify and analyze the top 50 global customers in the Layer and broiler Breeder segments, understanding their needs, preferences, growth potential and our company's positioning.

  • Assess competitive position and potential: Analyze our current competitive position, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for growth.

  • Identify success factors and bottlenecks: Understand the key factors contributing to our success and identify any barriers or challenges hindering growth.

  • Develop future value proposition: Create a compelling value proposition tailored to the designated customer type, aligning with their needs and aspirations.

  • Develop winning strategy: Formulate a comprehensive strategy to capture the potential identified in the 5YP, including organizational structures, current and future portfolio, R&D and regulations.

Education:   

  • Minimum Bachelor degree, Masters degree is highly desirable. 

Required:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the Animal Health Industry and/or related industry.

  • Full proficiency in English, with proficiency in a second language preferred

  • Experience working in a matrix environment and leading cross-functional teams.

  • Broad critical thinking and strategic decision-making skills.

  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leadership.

  • Self-starter with strong project management and leadership skills.

  • Experience or proven ability to work in a multicultural environment.

  • Deep understanding of the Animal Health Industry, particularly the Livestock market.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Availability for frequent domestic and international travel. (up to 50% of time)

  • Proficiency in MS Office and data visualization tools.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in Animal Health Poultry business

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US salary range:

$181,600.00 - $285,800.00
