Unicorn Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative Video Editor to join a thriving wedding photography and videography business. You’ll play a key role in crafting emotionally engaging wedding films that align with the business’s unique style and storytelling approach. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for storytelling who excels at working with wedding themes and tailoring content to each client’s unique preferences.

What You’ll Do:

• Edit wedding footage into polished, emotionally compelling films that reflect the company’s style and storytelling approach.
• Collaborate closely with the business owners to ensure each video captures the essence of the wedding day.
• Manage project timelines and deliver high-quality edits within deadlines.
• Organize and archive footage to maintain an accessible library for future use.
• Adapt content to suit various wedding themes, styles, and client preferences.
• Create social media content optimized for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Familiarity with file management and cloud storage systems.
• 3+ years of experience as a video editor, preferably in the weddings, events and photography industry
• Knowledge of color grading and audio editing.
• A keen eye for storytelling and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain a consistent visual and narrative style across projects.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
• Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and problem-solving.
  

Time Commitment: Part-Time (20 hours per week, 80 hours per month) EST timezone.
