Sr. Analyst – Pricing Strategy and Revenue Analytics

Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Sr. Analyst in the Pricing Strategy and Revenue Analytics Department.  The Pricing Strategy and Revenue Analytics Department is the team that provides analysis and insights on the revenue performance of all Choice properties in the United States and implements pricing strategy to drive revenue growth. As a key member of our Pricing Strategy and Revenue Analytics Department, you will have a key role in analyzing performance, communicating trends to upper management, and driving RevPAR growth to our properties.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide daily insights about business performance and highlight areas of revenue growth opportunity.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure pricing strategies are implemented and executed for the properties that they make sense for.

  • Measure results of pricing strategies and adjust to optimize future offers.

  • Present analysis to leadership in a clear and concise manner.

  • Analyze standard rate offers to ensure they remain relevant, suggest areas of opportunity for new offers.

  • Collaborate with digital and technology teams to ensure rate display is optimal for the consumer.

  • Explain changes in market trends that directly impact our business.

  • Build dashboards and reports for monitoring hotel performance.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, analytics or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree in related field preferred

  • At least 5 years’ experience in revenue management or analytics, travel industry preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Proficient in Data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)

  • Strong data storytelling and presentation skills.

  • Experience using SQL

  • Experience with Hospitality Revenue Management Systems

  • Experience with Hospitality Industry data (STR, Amadeus, Kalibri)

  • Ability to handle multiple different data requests and prioritize effectively.

  • Proactive mindset with confidence to bring forward data insight that support revenue growth.

  • Demonstrates key competencies to include Business insights, effective communication , and Action Oriented

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Sr. Manager, Pricing Strategy & Revenue analytics team You will have 4 peer teammates and collaborate with cross-functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Sr. Analyst you will be a remote-based associate, working from your home office. You will be required to connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom, with possible periodic travel in-person to our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide offices in North Bethesda, MD, Scottsdale, AZ, or St. Louis Park, MN. Nationwide travel will be required 10% of the time to visit in-office team meetings in North Bethesda, MD, and industry conventions across the US.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $85,294 to $98,600 annually.

Pay ranges listed are for this position and are what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
