Position Overview:

The Alliance Manager will be responsible for executing strategic initiatives that will develop and expand the Safeguard Global brand within our partner network, focusing primarily on Workday and its Account Executives (AEs). This role involves developing, supporting, and growing relationships with Workday AEs to become the go-to resource for Global Payroll. The Alliance Manager will provide ongoing training, education, and support to drive lead generation and sales opportunities.

How you will make a difference:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact, managing day-to-day activities between Safeguard Global and Workday AEs.

  • Identify potential new partnership opportunities within the Workday ecosystem, assess fit, and recommend appropriate actions.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts among Workday AEs.

  • Provide strategic leadership and coordination of partner development activities related to Workday.

  • Create and implement strategies to drive lead creation and opportunity generation within the Workday partnership.

  • Coordinate joint market-facing activities with Workday AEs and prepare required materials.

  • Gather customer references, testimonials, and case studies specific to the Workday partnership.

  • Collaborate with the Alliance team to ensure KPIs are being met and provide governance for the partnership.

  • Respond to direct inquiries from Workday AEs and coordinate with the appropriate Sales Account Managers (SAMs) and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).

  • Monitor CRM activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of entries while providing insights into trends.

  • Lead and support sales enablement activities specifically with Workday AEs.

  • Evaluate partnership results and recommend changes to the approach or partner structure as necessary.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong knowledge of HCM, payroll, and EOR/PEO, preferably global.

  • 3+ years of related experience in the relevant industry.

  • 3+ years of related experience in sales, relationship building, or consulting roles.

  • Demonstrated success in channel sales, developing partner relationships, and driving sales through indirect channels.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills.

  • Strong relationship-building capabilities.

  • Analytical skills to evaluate partnership effectiveness.

  • Familiarity with CRM and other supporting tools and technologies.
