Key Responsibilities:
- Complete a gap analysis to define industry training needs related to Rare Earth Element technologies and processes.
- Design and develop comprehensive K-12 and post-secondary curriculum aligned with workforce development goals.
- Ensure curriculum meets state and national educational standards.
- Incorporate best practices in instructional design to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Apply instructional design theories, practice, and methods to create high-quality educational materials.
- Develop interactive and multimedia content to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Utilize various instructional technologies and platforms to deliver content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
- Ensure timely delivery of curriculum materials and adherence to project timelines.
- Develop assessment tools and strategies to measure student learning and curriculum effectiveness.
- Analyze assessment data to inform curriculum revisions and improvements.
- Conduct formative and summative evaluations of instructional materials.
- Provide training and support to educators on the implementation of the developed curriculum.
- Create professional development materials and workshops to enhance educators' instructional skills.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, Education, or a related field with a minimum of 6 years’ experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years’ experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development, preferably in a K-12 or post-secondary setting.
- Deep understanding of instructional design principles, curriculum development, and the unique needs of K-12 and post-secondary learners.
- Experience in creating engaging, standards-aligned educational content that prepares students for future workforce opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in workforce development or career and technical education (CTE).
- Familiarity with state and national K-12 and post-secondary educational standards.
- Experience in developing online or blended learning environments.
- Knowledge of assessment and evaluation techniques.
