Sonos is looking for a dynamic and strategic Director of Americas Marketing to spearhead our marketing initiatives across the Americas region. This role is pivotal in enhancing brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and boosting sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of brand positioning, consumer insights, and exhibit exceptional leadership abilities. 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for the Americas region, aligning with global brand objectives and market trends

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment 

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and create high-quality marketing materials that reflect the brand image

  • Oversee the creation, planning, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media and print, while managing the Americas marketing budget to ensure optimal resource allocation and financial performance monitoring 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign delivery

What You’ll Need

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in brand marketing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful commercial and global marketing strategies

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different cultures, time zones and personalities. The team members you will be interacting with are located around the Globe

  • Deep understanding of Americas and global market trends, consumer behavior and competitive landscapes

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Excellent analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Experience with consumer electronics, consumer goods or technology products is a plus

At Sonos we consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may lead  individual compensation to vary depending on job related qualifications, skills, and experience.  All full time employees are eligible for merit increases, discretionary bonuses, and equity.  Our job postings may span more than one career level and the base pay range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions. The starting base pay for this role for all US candidates is between:

$183,000 and $203,300
