Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
• Maintain adherence to established style guides to ensure the production of verbatim transcripts.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in capturing spoken content.
• Utilize legal terminology proficiently while maintaining high standards of grammar.
• Collaborate with our supportive in-office team as necessary to enhance the transcription process.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
• Exceptional listening abilities.
• Strong adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guides.
• Excellent literacy skills, with a focus on comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
• Proficient typing skills in both speed and accuracy.
• Capability to process challenging audio/text content.
• Background check clearance is mandatory.
• Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
• Court reporting students are also encouraged to apply.

• A minimum of two years of experience in legal transcription or a related field.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
