Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Project Manager specializing in environmental pipelining to join our dedicated environmental team at WorkStaff USA, a premier staffing agency recognized for delivering exceptional professionals to organizations nationwide. This role offers 100% remote work flexibility for candidates located within the USA, with a strong emphasis on expertise in FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a variety of projects, from routing and siting to ensuring compliance during construction.
  • Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, including FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
  • Facilitate communication with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings.
  • Monitor project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting to ensure timely delivery.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and represent the company at industry conferences.
  • Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to ensure project adherence to environmental standards.

Required Skills

  • In-depth understanding of FERC regulations and federal environmental regulations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter, capable of working independently.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting related to pipelines.
  • Proven capability in managing both small to mid-size projects (ranging from \(25k to \)100k) and large-scale projects (exceeding $500k).
