Job description

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior Environmental Pipeline Project Manager to join our dedicated environmental team. This position is fully remote and allows you to contribute significantly to midstream pipeline projects including natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil. Candidates must possess documented experience in FERC Section 7Β© and Third-party EIS processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a diverse range of projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
  • Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing necessary permit applications, including FERC Section 7Β© and Third-party EIS documentation.
  • Liaise with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
  • Engage with the public and relevant stakeholders during hearings and meetings.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and forecasting activities.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and represent the company at industry conferences.
  • Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to ensure adherence to standards.

Required Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental compliance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, Teams, and MS Dynamics is preferred.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in environmental licensing and permitting related to pipelines.
  • Professional certifications are welcomed but not mandatory.
