Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Mortgage Loan Officer in Myrtle Beach, SC, where you will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships within the mortgage industry. This remote position allows you to work in a flexible environment while making a significant impact on clients’ financial futures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, including Realtors, Financial Advisors, and Bank Branches.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities, leveraging company-sponsored events and direct-to-consumer efforts to develop robust business connections.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of our products, policies, and underwriting criteria.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial and credit data to align consumer needs with appropriate loan options, while carefully assessing associated risks.
  • Enhance the company’s visibility and presence in the marketplace.

Required Skills

  • A current NMLS state license is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated success in external retail mortgage origination, particularly with self-sourced business.
  • Proven sales proficiency, with a strong record of meeting production benchmarks set for branch performance.
  • Thorough familiarity with FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines, alongside a solid understanding of real estate transaction processes.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the mortgage origination field.
  • Professional certification or licensure as a mortgage originator is required.
