Job Overview

We are thrilled to invite a meticulous and experienced 401(k) TPA Plan Administrator to our distinguished team! In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the management and oversight of client retirement plans, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards while delivering exceptional service to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance: Guarantee that retirement plans align with ERISA, IRS, and DOL guidelines. Perform regular audits and implement corrective measures as necessary to uphold compliance.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for plan sponsors, responding to inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring outstanding customer service.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review annual plan documents, 5500 forms, and all other required filings, ensuring accuracy and punctuality in submissions.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with investment advisors, accountants, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive client services.
  • Continuous Learning: Remain abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of ERISA, IRS regulations, and DOL compliance requirements
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities, with a focus on detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with FIS Relius is advantageous
  • Preferred certifications: Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), or equivalent

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Relevant experience in retirement plan administration is preferred

Compensation And Benefits

  • This position is remote within the United States. A hybrid work setting is recommended for those located in the Chicago area.
  • Salary Range: \(50,000 - \)80,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications.
