Job Overview

We are a prominent developer, owner, and operator of anaerobic digesters across the United States, dedicated to converting organic waste and manure into renewable energy solutions. Our pioneering, closed-loop processes yield green electricity and renewable natural gas while generating valuable by-products. With operations spanning over 13 states and a portfolio of more than 20 projects under development, we are committed to expanding into new markets and propelling sustainable energy initiatives nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct up to three concurrent Organics projects from initiation to successful completion.
  • Identify potential project scope challenges, manage associated risks, and keep an updated risk register.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze project trends, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and devise strategies aimed at improving overall project performance.
  • Facilitate coordination among teams through regular meetings to monitor project progress.
  • Conduct weekly meetings addressing safety, procurement, engineering, construction, contract management, and project performance.
  • Manage project budgets, including processing change orders and securing approvals for any unforeseen expenses.
  • Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to the project sponsor, ensuring clarity and timely communication.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of project management experience.
  • Industry experience in Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), Utilities (Gas/Electric), Oil and Gas, Environmental Projects, Sustainable Energy, Industrial Construction, Power Plant Construction, or Wastewater Treatment.
  • Strong comprehension of the complete project lifecycle, along with data analysis skills and proficiency in project management tools.
  • Proven success in delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for site evaluations and engagement with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing complex construction projects encompassing civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation scopes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams involving engineering, procurement, construction, and operational stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, particularly in collaboration with local government entities and regulatory bodies.
  • Proficient in advancing design-build or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy development processes and their associated challenges.
  • Advanced scheduling capabilities using tools such as P6 Primavera and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management expertise.
