Job Overview

We are a pioneering force in offline marketing solutions, seeking an accomplished General Manager to spearhead our operations across the United States and Canada. Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a strategic plan that aligns with the company’s overarching goals and fosters growth in the US and Canadian markets.
  • Assume complete accountability for the financial performance of the region by optimizing costs and maximizing revenue.
  • Propel sales growth by generating new leads, acquiring high-quality clients, and exploring untapped markets.
  • Oversee all operational facets, including logistics, supply chain management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team, emphasizing talent development and effective people management.
  • Drive market expansion and enhance sales performance through data-centric strategies and a profound understanding of regional dynamics.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local laws and regulations governing business operations.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance metrics and guide strategic decision-making.

Required Skills

  • 7-10 years of experience in operations management, including a minimum of 3 years in a general management capacity.
  • Proven track record in customer-facing roles, demonstrating the ability to articulate compelling sales pitches and nurture robust client relationships.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in guiding and developing high-performing teams in dynamic environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of the US and Canadian markets, particularly in relation to scaling operations.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience managing a P&L to enhance financial performance.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and a strong command of Excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective interactions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Comfortable utilizing spreadsheets and various technology tools.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration across teams in different departments and geographic locations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of labor laws and regulatory frameworks in the US and Canada.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience managing operations across multiple regions or countries.
  • Background in budget management and participation in or leading budget creation.
  • Experience in recruiting, developing, and managing teams.
  • A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (Bachelor’s, MBA, or Finance diploma) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data sets and proficiency in SQL and spreadsheet management.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup or agency setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the offline marketing sector is a plus.
  • Experience leading client discussions and operational presentations.
