Job Title: Oracle EBS Technical Developer

Location: Remote

Position Type: Contract

We invite you to join our esteemed organization as an Oracle EBS Technical Developer. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate within a highly skilled Agile development team, delivering innovative solutions that significantly impact our clients in Virginia. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your professional skills while contributing to diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with an Agile team to develop reports, interfaces, customizations, extensions, configurations, and personalizations.
  • Design, develop, and document solutions based on user stories and requirements.
  • Create and implement RICECPW for various Oracle SCM modules such as Purchase Orders (PO), Customer Service (CS), Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), among others.
  • Design new interfaces utilizing Oracle APIs across different EBS modules.
  • Support technical activities in compliance with the approved Agile methodology.
  • Review Technical Design Documents to comprehend various RICECPW component functionalities.
  • Engage in Change Requests to refine and clarify project requirements.
  • Optimize and tune PL/SQL packages and stored procedures within the Oracle 19c RDBMS environment.
  • Provide technical support during release testing phases.
  • Prepare comprehensive deployment instructions for successful code migration and rollback procedures.
  • Draft design alternatives and specification documents.
  • Conduct thorough analysis throughout the design and development phases of Oracle modules.
  • Deliver updates on project deliverables identified for the development team.
  • Ensure high-quality completion and timely delivery of all work products and deliverables.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with Oracle EBS R12.2 and Oracle databases.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of Oracle SCM modules including PO, CS, INV, OM, WIP, BOM, and FND.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, XML, SOA, and BI Publisher.
  • Familiarity with Oracle APIs for building interfaces across various EBS modules.
  • Strong understanding of OA Framework (OAF) development and ability to implement UI modules using APEX integrated with EBS.
  • Experience in BI analysis utilizing Oracle Analytic Server (OAS).
  • Ability to reverse-engineer complex modules for troubleshooting data issues.
  • Experience with shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of the Oracle e-BS database schema, especially in relation to Oracle Service modules.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience in Oracle EBS development and technical support.
  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle SCM modules and related technical tools.
