Job Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled Oracle Security Architect to become an integral part of our innovative team. This role requires expertise in Oracle Security Architecture (OSA) and comprehensive database management to support the United States Air Force's Human Resources Family of Systems software development and modernization efforts based in San Antonio, TX. The position is fully remote and provides an excellent platform to showcase your technical abilities while contributing to critical national initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to define the overarching database, configuration management, and security objectives for the USAF.
  • Analyze security scans and assessments, prioritize security goals utilizing the MoSCoW method, and develop corresponding requirements.
  • Design a thorough OSA architecture, including all necessary infrastructure specifications.
  • Install and configure essential components such as Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Advanced Security Option, and Oracle Database Vault (DBV) in accordance with the architectural design.
  • Execute rigorous testing and implementation of the architecture, followed by continuous monitoring and verification within the production environment.

Required Skills

  • Extensive hands-on experience in formulating Oracle Security Architectures within the Oracle EBS Applications environment, specifically with Oracle HR/payroll modules of Oracle R12.2.4 and later.
  • Proficiency in relevant tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Advanced Security Option, Oracle Database Vault (DBV), and Oracle Data Masking (DM).
  • Proven ability to create comprehensive test plans and scripts for security implementations.
  • Skilled in documenting installation processes and configuration of security measures effectively.
  • Familiarity with STIG requirements and adeptness in data masking techniques to ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive and personally identifiable information (PII).

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • Candidates must hold an active CompTIA Security+ certification or an equivalent credential.
  • A minimum of five years of experience as an OSA expert, particularly in supporting eBS implementations.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have a completed and active background investigation at the Tier 1 low-risk level with favorable adjudication.
