Corporate Accountant - Contract - Remote

We are looking for an detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Accountant to join our esteemed team on a 6-month remote contract basis. This role is essential in preparing and analyzing our financial documentation, directly contributing to the financial integrity and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounting records, financial statements, tax documentation, and a variety of financial reports.
• Develop and assess reports concerning business operations and budgetary allocations.
• Conduct audits to verify compliance with established standards.
• Design and implement innovative processes aimed at improving financial efficiency.
• Present financial analyses and findings to senior management.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
• Experience with JD Edwards is preferred.
• Ability to effectively gather and interpret data.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounting or a related discipline is required.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Experience with publicly traded companies is advantageous.
• Familiarity with contemporary accounting software and reporting tools.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
