Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Product Owner to join our remote team. This part-time role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Colombia while playing a pivotal role in guiding our product development process. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for managing the product backlog, defining user stories, and ensuring that the development team delivers features that align with business goals and customer needs.

Your role is crucial in bridging the gap between stakeholders and the development team, translating business requirements into actionable tasks, and ensuring successful product delivery. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Product Backlog: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product vision and stakeholder requirements.
  • Define User Stories: Write clear and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team's work.
  • Collaborate with Development Team: Work closely with the development team during sprints to clarify requirements and address any questions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, communicating progress and gathering feedback.
  • Sprint Planning and Review: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective Agile processes.
  • Adapt to Changes: Adjust priorities and backlog items based on feedback, changes in business objectives, or development constraints.
Qualifications
  • Proven Experience as a Product Owner: Demonstrated experience in an Agile/Scrum environment with a focus on product ownership.
  • Relevant Certification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. A Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is a plus.
  • Strong Understanding of Agile Practices: Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools used for managing product development.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate requirements and progress to both stakeholders and the development team.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable user stories and tasks.
  • Technical Acumen: Basic understanding of software development processes to effectively collaborate with the development team.
